Right across the country, thousands of people are on council waiting lists for an affordable home. Many more are paying high rents in the private sector that stretch their budgets to the limit. Demand for social housing and other more affordable options greatly exceeds supply and has done for years. So, we’re doing our bit to help in the East Midlands by working in partnership with others to build new flats and houses. We also offer new homes to people with a wide range of needs and budgets.

…formed a strategic partnership with Midland Heart and East Midlands Housing
to bring £171m of grant to the region under the new Affordable Homes Programme.
…built 179 new homes, including 38 for shared ownership.
